Course duration: Approximately 15 months.
Delivery method:
The apprentice will work towards the Assistant Accountant Apprenticeship standard at level 3, and will be required to have completed Level 2 Accountancy or equivalent. Alongside the apprenticeship, learners will also gain their AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting.
Throughout the apprenticeship, learners will complete apprenticeship assessment activities (formerly End-Point Assessment) designed to demonstrate the knowledge, skills and behaviours required by the apprenticeship standard.
Assessment may take place throughout the programme and can include a range of methods, depending on the apprenticeship standard. These may include projects, professional discussions, presentations, observations and other assessment activities.
We will work closely with our learners and employers throughout the programme to ensure apprentices are supported and prepared to successfully achieve their apprenticeship.
The apprenticeship covers a wide range of transferable skills such as analysis, communication, producing quality & accurate information, using business systems & processes and problem solving.
Apprentices will learn about business awareness, IT systems & processes, ethical standards, financial reporting & accounting and management accounting.
Completing the AAT Level 3 Diploma in Accounting allows you to progress directly into higher-level professional qualifications, advanced job roles, or chartered accountancy pathways.
