Access Training are pleased to announce that their recent Ofsted inspection was a great success.
Seven inspectors visited Access for a week at the end of January, observing training sessions, reviews and assessments and interviewing a wide range of learners, employers, staff and partner organisations.
The final report confirms that ‘Access Training is a good provider’. It stated that ‘Learners’ achievement is good’, confirming success rates above national levels.
Inspectors also found teaching, training and learning to be good and stated that ‘Access Training meets the needs of learners and employers well’.
Inspectors reported that ‘Learners develop their personal and social skills and increase their vocational knowledge’ and that ‘learners increase in confidence and enjoy their learning’. They also praised the company’s approach to and ‘promotion of equality and diversity’ and the ‘strong partnerships’ that we have developed.
Malcolm Armstrong, Managing Director of Access, said: “This is a very pleasing report. Inspectors confirmed most of the strengths identified in our own self assessment, but were also able to suggest a small number of other areas where we can improve. We hope to now build on this successful inspection so we can offer employers and learners an even better service.”
