Apprenticeships are getting exciting in Gateshead with Access Training.
We love to talk about all things apprenticeships at Access and the success of our apprentices. To keep the fun in apprenticeships we have been running some events and have big plans for future events at our Access Training Apprenticeships centre in Gateshead.
As a local training provider working in not only Gateshead but in many areas of the North East including Newcastle, Sunderland, Middlesbrough, Durham and Northumberland we have been delivering apprenticeships for over 35 years providing a bespoke service to our employers and successfully securing new apprentice recruits for them.
In September we held our very own MacMillan coffee morning which was a great success and enabled us to raise £128.87 for a great cause. We invited local employers within the Gateshead area whom we have worked with for many years successfully growing their businesses through Apprenticeships. Our staff were encouraged to bake and we were able to share this event with our learners whilst attending their day release workshops at Access Training.
Who knew #NationalChocolateWeek was an actual thing?! We certainly did at Access Training Gateshead! Our recent competition sparked lots of entertainment and fun for our apprentices. With a daily FREE Chocolate draw the stakes were high and the winners varied across all of our Academic areas including our Fire and Security Engineers, our Accountancy apprentices and also our Business Administrators on visiting our Gateshead training centre.
We carried on the fun and events when hosting our first Spooktakular Pumpkin carving competition on Halloween itself the 31st October. We encouraged both our apprentices and staff at our Gateshead training centre to take part in this competition with a small entry fee which was donated to MacMillan.
