Selection process

If your application meets the required standard we will invite you for an initial interview at our Training Centre on the Team Valley in Gateshead.

CVs for those applicants successful at the initial interview are sent to employers who may invite you for an interview at their premises which in turn may lead to an offer of employment.

Access will then work with you and your employer to achieve your apprenticeship qualification.

Job Description:

  • Booking in works (mainly audits & cleans) with clients
  • Submitting risk assessments, method statements & insurance documentation
  • Compiling delivery schedules for our in-house & external teams
  • Updating the internal management system, adding monthly site visits/costs and updating accordingly
  • Checking reports before issue to clients
  • Uploading client reports onto relevant portals
  • Keeping competency certificates & subcontractor insurance documentation on file and up-to-date
  • Maintaining a record of client keys for site access & posting to contractors/clients as required
  • Able to prioritise
  • A good telephone manner and customer service skills are essential
  • Previous admin experience also essential, plus competent in MS Office Suite
  • Driving licence desirable, but not essential.

  • Ensure you are organised at all times and communicate accurately with the relevant departments.
  • Ensure all mail is reviewed from the system and is actioned correctly according to the content of the letter.

Job Description:

  • Receive and direct patients appropriately
  • Answer the telephone according to practice procedures
  • Make appointments at the surgery, along with ‘Hub’ appointments

  • File correspondence in medical records

Job Description: 

• Answering phone and liaising with other offices
• Producing emails
• Opus data entry for Reports
• Photocopying / Scanning,
• Review/preparation of Timesheets as per local instruction / Client Itineraries/other documents
• Creating New jobs / Inspector Assignments in Opus, ensuring that all job related documents are uploaded to Opus or saving to ftp server for further distribution to inspector

Job Description: 

  • Providing general reception duties including answering telephones, checking identities, gate management, taking messages and responding to enquiries, data entry, receiving and dispatching post.
  • Clerical and administrative support including maintaining office systems, data entry, photocopying and providing information to pupils, parents, staff and governors.
  • Ensuring the efficient day to day management of the school office, including managing the school calendar, text messaging system, emails and hospitality.
  • Undertaking word-processing, data entry and other IT based tasks
  • To be enthusiastic in developing own expertise and skills to ensure all administrative systems in school are run effectively.
  • Assisting with the marketing and promotion of the school, including newsletters, brochures and prospectuses etc.

Working in a busy factory environment, the successful applicant will benefit from valuable ‘on the job’ training whilst also working towards a recognised qualification. Duties to include:
• Working between all departments to get a full understanding of the production process involved in the role
